Electrical Troubleshooting Basics - EricTheCarGuy

Electrical Troubleshooting Basics - EricTheCarGuy I get a lot of questions regarding electrical issues so when this 1994 Geo came in I thought it might be a perfect opportunity to show some of the basic steps that I follow when confronted with an electrical problem. Keep in mind that electrical problems come in all shapes and sizes so there really is no 'magic bullet' here but if you follow a basic procedure like the one shown in this video it might help you find and repair the problem. Here is a video that I did some time ago on soldering wires. How To Install an Exhaust Header Acura Integra 1990-2001

I've had this DC sport header for more than 10 years waiting for the day I got this car. The day has come and in this video I install this header onto my new GSR. I've listed coverage of all Integras from 1990-2001 because the engines, even the non VTEC engines, are similar enough where the information covered will apply even though this is technically specific to the 2001 GSR model. 2005 Acura RL Sometimes Won't Come Out of Park -EricTheCarGuy

Brake switch failures are a common problem on Hondas of this vintage. If your Honda won't come out of park then you might have a brake light switch problem. You might also have an ABS/TCS light on. It's an easy diagnosis as well as fix. You don't even need any tools other than a scan tool to pull codes if you have any. Just make sure you install and adjust it properly. Do that, and you'll be back on the road in no time. Yes my brother's car is back and this time the battery is going dead overnight. He discovered that the brake lights weren't going off and draining the battery so I suggested he look at the brake light switch operation, he took that as he needed to replace the brake light switch and it obviously didn't work. The video shows the real problem and the fix. Enjoy
